Turn complex heat decarbonization problems into executable projects
Create insights, engineer and build your business case using the Entropic platform and reduce time spent on pre-engineering
How Entropic platform works
Turning down the heat with automated pre-engineering by Entropic
1. Build a model of an industrial site
Quickly create a complete digital model of your site.
Upload site data and complete a quick questionnaire.
Entropic creates a model of the site
This model becomes the foundation for precise analysis and optimization

2. Engineer, Simulate, and Evaluate
Simulate solutions and evaluate their feasibility in minutes.
Site data is combined with parametric equipment models to simulate and optimize integrated solutions
Our financial model takes into considerations dynamic energy pricing, subsidies, financing options enabling complete business case generation.
Technical analysis includes designing and sizing equipment, optimizing system performance, and identifying the best configurations.
3. Generate Pre-Engineering Report
Turn insights into actionable plans.
Our report generator will give detailed technical specifications and customizable financial models for each solution, including metrics such as energy savings, ROI, footprint.
Review the report and share with stakeholders.

Equipment models in Entropic library
Entropic has developed parametric equipment models of low/no carbon technologies. These models automatically size equipment and are able to simulate operational conditions.

Heat Exchanger
Re-use
A heat exchanger transfers heat between a heat source and heat sink. A heat exchanger is the most efficient way to recover heat and increase energy efficiency and is the first technology to be applied before looking at others.

Heat Pump
Power2Heat
Heat pump technology enables industries to cost-effectively upgrade heat. Depending on the working fluid, heat up to 250°C can be generated. COP's (coefficient of performance) of up to 10 can be reached.

Thermal Energy Storage
Store
Thermal energy storage can be used to buffer waste heat or leverage electricity supply-demand inbalances. This technology enables industry to generate cheap, clean high temperature heat on-demand.

E-boiler
Power2Heat
An E-boiler heats fluids up to 300°C for steam, ideal with a gas boiler. It switches between electricity and gas based on real-time prices, cutting energy costs by up to 80% depending on the type of electricity market.

Absorption Cooling
Power2Cool
Absorption cooling uses heat to cycle refrigerants (NH3, LiBr, silica gel) for cooling between -40 and 10°C. The cooling efficiently converts waste heat (>70°C) into cooling with minimal electricity.

Organic Rankine Cycle
Heat2Power
The Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) generates electricity by vaporizing an organic fluid to drive a turbine, operating between 80°C and 300°C.
