Internship: Website Design

Entropic Energy is a software platform for engineers to design complex energy systems. Entropic is a design and optimization platform for complex commercial and industrial energy projects. We use optimization algorithms and AI to map the current process. We started building this product because industry faces an enormous transition. It has to electrify, and do it as cheaply as possible to stay competitive. Our AI-driven simulation software maps the existing process and designs an optimized energy system. The result: customers get better-designed systems at lower cost.

The Opportunity

Our website is our front door. Most prospects, investors and future colleagues meet Entropic there before they ever meet us. Currently we have the need to add extra pages so we can serve all our customers.

We're looking for a Web Engineer to take it over and level it up. Not a one-off redesign: a foundation we can keep building on for years. You own the plan, the setup and the launch.

How you build it is your call. We're on Framer today and staying there is fine. WordPress, Next.js or something else is fine too as long as you can defend it on two points. One: our team can update content ourselves in minutes. Two: it doesn't block us the moment we want something custom an interactive map of every high-temperature heat project in Europe, or a calculator where a prospect works out their own savings.

What You Will Do

  • Update and improve www.entropic.energy: design, structure and content.

  • Set it up so our team can easily build and edits pages ourselves.

  • Make it extensible: new ideas slot in as components interactive maps, calculators, data visuals, case studies.

  • Improve SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) performance.

  • Document it and hand it over, so it keeps running after your internship.

After the website, there's plenty more:

  • Prospect-facing tools: ROI and savings calculators, benchmark tools

  • Features in the Entropic platform itself, with our product team

  • Internal dashboards and automation for sales and CRM

Skills We Look For

  • Code: You have experience programming as you will need to build custom parts: make a map, a calculator, etc.

  • Portfolio: You send us at least one site/tool you built and can walk us through why you made the choices you made.

  • Ownership: This is your project. You set the plan, make the calls, and ship it.

  • Communication: You flag blockers early and can explain a technical trade-off

  • Initiative: You spot what's missing or broken and fix it without being asked.
